Please take a look at my Web site and tell me what you like and what you hate.

Is design ok? What should I put in the sidebar (there's too much free space at the moment)?

Thanks for all feedback :]

The design is ok but i would personally go for something techy/web 2.0 for this type of blog. I would personally like to learn about HTML/CSS or any other programming language through a blog that looked like this http://www.secondversion.com/ that one that look like yours, no offense.

Get a logo. Possibly an entire header for the site. Also for the sidebar i would put affiliate buttons for hosting, domains, and possibly an a-store widget of HTML or programming language books and software. Knock down your recent posts to like 2 to be displayed on the main page as well. I have told this to many people, it helps your CTR and interest in the blog itself. Make them explore dont give it all to them all at once.

Good Luck!

Well, the bright side of the design is that it's custom made, so it is 100% unique. You won't find any other similar Web site on the Internet. I don't like free Wordpress themes because too many people are using them. I want my Web sites to stand out.

But I will definately think about making some better header and logo, I might even modify the theme further.

Yes I will definately have to put something to the sidebar. Currently it is too empty. There are just recent posts.

As ross said definately go for a web 2.0 design, it is where web designs are at the moment and the style of yours is more suited for a personal or niche blog. To make a web 2.0 site it doesn't have to be generic like all the other templates it simply means that it needs to have a bit of a modern feel with some fresh colours.

It may be personal opinion but I'm not too keen on the entire blog being pushed to the left with a lot of the right just blank space. If it was my site I would be inclined to either put it more in the center or to extend it out a little bit to the right to take up more of the screen. Other than those little things its a well crafted design! (y)
