Funny how red and green are switched in China money charts

The .co has really jumped.
Regular LLL showing higher than chip LLL?!

CHIP or not, LLL.co is not the bubble, LLL.co (LLL only) always will have a potential end users and buyers.

I have 5 running on Godaddy auctions ending shortly. None managed break the $20 barrier so far, all chips. I suspect if they were expiring auctions they'd garner more attention.
Probably you are right. I almost always tick only the expiring auctions and closeout domains boxes when I look there.

Almost All 5N.co with "0" without "4" taken

Only 0NNNN.co pattern available.

~the last 1800 domains available.

Sold another 10 4l.co for $240 on wechat. Good deal for buyer and seller imho as they were strong letters. I might have gotten $400-$600 piecing them out, but then I have to account for all the time it takes to do that so overall I'm happy. I've started getting inbound mails.

Edit

Just to add my two cent from my time spent on QQ and WeChat. .co is getting most of the attention and most investors seem to like it. Compare this to .info .biz and .org one investor loves them the next hates them. .Co seems to be universally appreciated, at least that's my impression. If there is a pop I can see .co surviving it and holding some value up to 4l and 5n.

Most people know .com no matter how old you are, and these days young people are growing up seeing all kinds of extensions. I think a 'fresh' set of eyes would look at .co as being very favourable as an alternative to .com. Most of us here have 'domainer' eyes that know the history and background of every extension, so that affects our perception. When you are looking outside .com, the .co has to be up there in choices.

On another note, with the recent release of 5N to 20N .WS domains last night, and the buyout of 4N.ws in December, I started a .WS discussion thread here for those interested. Seems it may be picking up interest in China too.

Woulda hoped for a little more on that one. Still things moving along nicely.....and I still think .co is waaay undervalued.

But not the adults ? What's so different with young people ?

Right now its only tech minded people who recognize other extensions.

Traffic leakage is an issue for ngtld's. That's difficult to deny even for their most stoic supporters.

Scarcity of .com also a problem. Long strings just aren't good in outbound marketing. Somethings gotta give....

Adults who remember the internet beginning in the 90's saw it start mainly with .com, .org, .net and a few country codes. So they have that built in mindset.

Kids coming on the internet now see many more extensions being used than we did, for websites and as url shorteners. Vine.co, FB.me, T.co, Virg.in, Youtu.be and so on. When they go to register a domain, they have 100's of options being marketed to them at the registrars, unlike 15 years ago when options were much more limited.

Anyone jumping onto the internet scene right now for the first time doesn't have the same mindset for domain extensions as someone who was there at the start, so they are probably open to more possibilities.

Over time there will be more and more adoption of alternate extensions to .com, because more options are now available and good .com options are already being used or priced out of the market for many. It isn't going to go the other way, the only question is how fast it happens, but it is happening.

Just in January I sold two .co, XXQ and a non-chip, for $350 here on NP in a package with other numeric .co. Prices go up fast, I'm scared to sell anymore .co really.

HQM and WJY.

Just over 25 LLL.co on GD expired auction. You can see the Chips are getting more attention.
