but the problem is, now more and more companies have started using new gtlds like global.cannon (cannon.com redirects now to this), dollar.bank, i think this will have an impact on .com and co.

same old story.. countless extensions tried to bring down the king. and yet the king lives. stronger than ever too.. but.. thats my take on it.. and that's yours.. act acccording to your belief. gl.

It's not like everybody can get his/her own TLD cheaply and easily.

yvp.co - sold for $25 on Flippa :xf.eek:
That's even less than akq.co since buyer doesn't have to add $30 for renewal.

Reg fee 3Ls could come quicker than I thought :-o

Western Premium LLL.COs have strong sales while chips are only good among domainers.
look at the tas.co sale few days ago. 3000$. probably an end user sale. but chips does not have end user values. THis is my humble openion.

I think is clear what the marker is saying.. Not all chips have value because not all chips mean something valuable for Chinese endusers.

Possibly German musician Farin Urlaub. Urlaub seems to be a surname.

CHIP just went below non-CPs. :xf.eek: Crazy!

pqp.co 155 USD 2016-05-29 GoDaddy

pfv.co 196 USD 2016-05-27 GoDaddy
ujo.co 196 USD 2016-05-27 GoDaddy
cxv.co 192 USD 2016-05-27 GoDaddy

It's still quite mind boggling how far/high the CHIPs mania went and how fast it crashed.
And I mean in all extensions - com, net, hell, even crap like biz.
Man, it was fun while it lasted - I think it spoiled us all

On a positive note - you can't go wrong with names that have actual end users.
I just sold CVCV for $500 (well, more like $460 after escrow.com takes big chunk of money for a wire transfer).
And another offer on VCCV - $50, I should have probably just accept it but I countered with $195 and haven't heard from him/her since.

but none of his fans "know" about .rocks and .music ....thats unfamiliar territory.

On the other hand one word .co domains are doing well these past few weeks.

This is an obvious sign for potential buyers to jump in NOW. Would be naive to think they will stay at this price. yes they dropped, but it will likely go back up.

Some people dont understand something fundamental about LLLs that is quite simple. Even if LLL.cos are down now, the truth is that value and price will still go up because supply keeps shrinking. Only thing that will make LLL.cos really go down and stay down is general disinterest aka lack of demand and many names showing avaiable to hand reg and stuff. otehr than that, no chance prices wont go up. but then again, the naive domainers always follow price and get fooled in the end. i know what i follow..

I don't know - even end users are usually unwilling to pay more than $xxx.

I'm waiting for prices go to $5 + renewal :xf.grin: actually scratch that - go to a reg fee, please.

I think we should all agree not to bid more than $xx (or preferably at all) ;) - prices will fall, buyers will get pessimistic and stop bidding and we can grab them for $10... ;)

Well the end users are bluffing you or your lack of confidence or/and patience is making you undersell. As for waiting for $5 price, i will assume you are joking because i think you know better.

No, not joking, I think there's a strong possibility that next year crapola UQJ or KVY not only is not picked on expiring auction but struggle to find buyers on closeout.
But that's just my personal opinion. I could be wrong.
I personally wouldn't pay even $5 (+renewal) for them.
