CNN - Mathematical retards

Okay, I've been watching CNN yesterday and this morning and they keep talking about how Al Lewis (the guy that played the grandfather on 'The Munsters' TV show) died.

Thing is, he was born in 1910 and they keep saying he died at 83 years old. They even show on the screen 'Al Lewis: 1910-2006', their newsanchors have even said "Lewis was born in 1910 and died this past Friday at the age of 83."

If you don't believe me, turn on CNN - they're still doing it. Durgh! The guy died at 95, not 83. Even an idiot could figure that out.

The actor was widely reported to have been born in 1910, but his son Ted Lewis said Saturday that his father was born in 1923.

While a mistake like that might not make them mathematically retard, they are for sure retard in many other senses. Watching 15 minutes of CNN per day for news updates is just sufficient, because, they keep on beating the same news every 15 minutes

Hehe, I was wondering that myself. I read several news outlets and they all had 95 except for CNN. Strange. Although it was not uncommon back then to not really know your real birthdate (since many came over from other countries without birth certificates). My grandmother didn't know her real birthday, but it was more like what date in a 2 year span, not 12 years.
