Is anyone else getting a cloudflare popup when visiting namepros?

It comes up again and again and is driving me crazy. I finally had my adblocker block the element to remove it. At first I was thinking it could be a chrome extension injecting an ad but I am only getting it on namepro. It darkens the screen and pops up saying....

Site is blocked.... no not really just fill out this form.

Well guess what.... Pop up is blocked, no further action needed.

Talk about disruptive.

Did you actually bother to read it? I'd appreciate if you did. It's there for a reason. Hundreds of other big site will be doing the same thing over the next 24 hours.

I was under the impression that it was supposed to start tomorrow, though. It's supposed to be coordinated.

You can find info about their privacy policy here: https://www.battleforthenet.com/july12/ It's a big event involving many websites. Scroll down to see the list of participants. You're only required to provide your full name and email address. It's a petition, so I assume whatever you send them has the potential to become public in some regard.

It's not supposed to be visible yet, so I'm not sure. I tried reseting it; we'll see if that fixes the issue. I think it's supposed to go away after the first time you close it.

It must've been a bug. @MapleDots Could you try unblocking it and letting me know whether you see it more than once after doing so?

if it continues to be an issue, I'll scrap the Cloudflare version and use the code directly from GitHub.

I'm seeing it too - a day early. And multiple times per session.

Annoying as it is, it will be more annoying if they kill net neutrality and your isp limits your access to just Amazon, eBay and Fox News. Or slows traffic to sites like NamePros down to miserable 2G like speeds unless you (or they) pay for faster access.

It popped up for me a few hours ago. I closed it. It came back. I read it. Filled it out. It hasn't been back.

There is a disclaimer that said something about your information may be public record given the govt destination. A small price to pay for net neutrality. Thank you @Paul Buonopane for implementing this popup - and helping a GREATER cause!

I have unblocked it and right now it is calm.

I did read it and said to myself I will participate but I was trying to answer a pm and it kept popping up repeatedly.

It should give an option to participate at a later time when I have spare time.
So pop up and maybe give an option to pop up again an hour later but it popped up with every page refresh.

It's definitely not supposed to do that. It seems to be behaving now.

It's a big enough event that you should just be able to go to another site and fill it out there. A direct link to the petition is also circulating on social media (https://www.battleforthenet.com/july12/).

I'm not sure, but it can't hurt to try. Responses like that are to be expected, but at least you got a response.

Same. Debugging it now.

I'm not from the US and having this constantly popup again and again for every page is more than annoying. I'm pretty sure NP's userbase is not US only and at least the rest of the world should be spared of this popup as we can't even use it (unless you want us to provide false information in it)

The EU is in a similar situation right now (actually, worse). The information is still relevant, although the form isn't. I'm not sure what's up with the lack of localization repeated popups; they need to get their act together.

Actually, I'm in Asia (India specifically) so neither case applies. I know that geo-based targeting is not a trivial task. If the previous issue is solved, it'll be fine I guess
