I used to own this name, I saw value in it too, but didn't find much end-user interest.

Initially it was registered by a fellow domainer in 2014, he renewed it in 2015, but with no offers he sold it on NP to me, I held it till before expiry when I sold it on NP again and the new owner dropped it. You have it now, so perhaps you'll have more luck.

imo droning will become illegal and be a faster fad than hoverboards ,if you like the domain I'm sure the guy would sell it for 88 bucks or you can buy the better domain droningclub.com but that's 10 bucks not 88cents

Thanks for all the comments! To be honest, I really like this one, and am going to hang onto it for as long as I need too. May look at spending some time developing first but certainly in no rush to sell. Drones are in the news, and as we all know are becoming increasingly popular, so I am confident there will be some interest.

I think that droning is not the same as drone..it is grammatically incorrect if you mean anything with drones..

Droning definition: "to make a dull, continued, low, monotonous sound; hum; buzz"

I think this has very slim chances of resale..

You could reach out to someone on meetup if you can find a drone club there. End user guess would be about $150. Also I have heard you should never sell a domain for less than what 1 sale of the product or service would be. Best of luck!
