Clicks almost double views on parked page?!

just checked my stats for the day and it says 34 views and 67 clicks. i think someone is poking my parked page. what happens if someone is trying to get me in trouble for "click fraud" do they just block the ip or do i get in trouble. this cannot be normal based on the stats of yesterday

should i submit a ticket in parked.com or just let them deal with it

I have contacted my parking provider in the past when I saw this kind of thing going on. It could be what you think or a bot or spider that can follow the links.

Since it keeps happening from time to time I have stopped letting them know and they just seem to be taking care of it. It's disappointing to see an $84 dollar day drop back to be a $2.54 day, but I hate fraud and don't really mind at all.

I would contact them and express your concern. It should let them know what kind of customer you are and help them to trust that you are not involved with the activity.

I agree here with nielsencl... Anytime you notice something that could be fraud, or you accidentally click on your own ad (with Adsense, etc), its a good idea to send them an email letting them know. This way in the future, if anything ever happens, you have documented correspondences that show that you have always tried to help prevent/detect this type of thing.

Especially with Adsense, I've heard of a lot of people having their accounts yanked for no reason, losing lots of money, etc... So, it can't hurt to establish a history of good-dealings.

yep, that is what i did. i still got paid for the clicks but they went from an average of 32 cents a click to 8 cents a click. Traffic is unstable. alot some day and little the next and it is starting to creep into other domains parked, that are brand new registers. no back links, no prior traffic.

I am trying to figure out where the traffic could be coming from. I wrote parked.com twice about this matter. They stated they will look into it. I never received a reply the second time.

Im new to domaining, and i dont want to be blacklisted from parking and then figure more out about it and wont be able to use the services. and now today, the domains that were getting really good clicks got 0 hits today so far

i figured the statistics would be easy to follow
