Please appraise - pompey. tv

for background info Pompey is the psudonym name for portsmouth (a large city in England)

No-one refers to the city as portsmouth - everyone, as pompey.

Even the soccer team that plays in the english premiership goes by the name of pompey fc (www.pompeyfc.co.uk)

Im a ted confused as to the value of .tv names but I guess them to be a growth market (especially with the advent of more and more locally based tv channels and the seemingly unstoppable merge of televisions and computers)

I have been able to get some .tv ccTLDs on GreatDomains.com because they push them, however, I can't give them away wholesale...even good ones.

Your reference is so obscure that I don't think you will have much luck with selling this domain. This has been my experience.

Do you know any local tv stations using the .tv ext?

I haven't heard of any local stations using .tv TLDs, I still don't like it, but you only need 1 end user to like it to make a good sale!
