I've been lurking around this forum for a few months now and figured its time to finally make an account so I can start posting. I'm hoping I can find some people interested in the same areas as me to discuss ideas, domains, random thoughts, ect. There's already some specific people I've been paying attention to for their detailed posts and overall professionalism, and I hope to learn a lot from them. (In the short time I've lurked here, I've actually learned quite a bit)

A: I currently live in the Santa Cruz mountains of California.

A: Novice
How much experience do you have in the domain industry?
A: Currently, none. But I've always been into original names on social media, consoles, games, ect.
What would you like to specifically learn first?
A: I'd like to to learn more about outbound sales, the mindset of a buyer, words to use and not to use, and I'm sure the list will grow.
Are you currently working on any projects or ideas?
A: Yes, but I'd rather not post them publicly, if you actually want to know pm me.
What are your short-term goals in the next year?
A: I would like to get my personal domain portfolio site built and running properly.
What are your long-term goals in the next 5 years?
A: I'd like to start and hopefully finish the projects I'm working on. I also want to collect and sit on as many good 4L.coms, VR.coms, and cannabis-related.coms as I can.
What was your first domain you purchased?
A: Delija.com, but I let the domain drop like an idiot, and to my surprise a company called "HugeDomains" regged it, and is now reselling it for $1,895. Now I'm all for domain flipping obviously, but I found it funny that they would reg a domain name that I guarantee 90% of you can't pronounce correctly, and if I said it in real life, no one would know how to spell it. The first domain I registered with the purpose of reselling was 47.pe, but after thinking about it, I decided not to try to sell it to the group I had in mind.
Why did you start investing in domains? Please tell us the story.
A: I started investing in domains because I actually found it to be kind of fun (and started getting kind of addicted to it) Like I previously said, I use to be into original names on pretty much anything, so I've always had an eye for good names. Seeing prices that people have been getting on some domains has also been very motivating.
I'll be posting some of the domains I've registered over the past few months in their appropriate threads if you're interested. (Keep in mind 99% are GD coupon hand regs)
