I believe only short and easy-to-remember domain names are sustainable, regardless of where in the world you live and which cultural background you come from.

Now that the Chinese domain market has become a hot topic, I myself want to understand this trend too. Is there any real meaning behind each domain name sold in China? Here, I'd like to share with you what I've found as I read the Chinese news everyday.

GZX.com
GZX can stand for 更自信 (even more self-confident) which can be used in many fields such as education, self-help, and even consumer products to raise your self image.

XLY.com
XLY can stand for 夏令营 (summer camp) or 新领域 (new field) which can be used in recreation and high-tech products.

I think they are just moving in the same direction as the rest of the world -- going after short but meaningful domain names across many extensions that are promoted.

the hundreds of new extension will cause multiple-word domain names to lose their popularity

Boom, There it is ! Thank you again for your efforts !

Hi Kassey,

- Does "baiwanfu" indeed mean "Millionaire" in Pinyin?
- Does it have any use/potential in Chinese culture?

Thanks!
The phrase is not complete. You need the "W" at the end. It's a common term we use often.

Bai Wan Fu Weng
BWFW: 百万富翁>Millionaire

Does it mean that "baiwanfu" is meaningless to the Chinese, or they get it's intended meaning?

https://chinese.yabla.com/chinese-english-pinyin-dictionary.php?define=baiwanfu

Even Yabla automatically suggests:

百万富翁 Trad. 百萬富翁
bǎi wàn fù wēng
millionaire

So, I don't know how you can use an incomplete Chinese phrase for practical purposes.

Premium or not, I don't know, but Q is a very versatile letter which provides lot of possibilities when combined with other letters. Here are some meanings it can be attached to:

Q | 七 (kiss) 倾 全 前 千 去 启 奇 巧 庆 强 (fast) 情 抢 旗 曲 枪 洽 清 球 琴 群 腔 请 谦 起 (money) 青 驱 气 期 汽 器 橇 蜻 其 区 圈 泉 趣 秦 棋

QQ, for example, is a very popular messaging app.

Sorry, I don't know. For 5L and more, I usually don't try to find any meaning unless in very small cases you can get geos+ LLL. In your case, I couldn't find any. Maybe other folks have better ideas. When I acquire 5L .com, it's about real English words.

在线
在线 is simplified Chinese. See following for more info:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dot_Chinese_Website

You can also have traditional Chinese IDN extension, such as .台灣

https://www.101domain.com/台灣.htm

What do you think about zzqq combination?
Something like:

ZZQQ:仔仔亲亲>Young boy, kiss kiss (仔仔 is also the nickname of a famous actor/singer in Taiwan)

i would like to ask how high do you think LLLL.COM chips can go max price in your view

Any view on a presidential name.com? I own TsaiIng-wen (dot com).
TsaiIng-Wen apparently was voted in as Taiwan's first female president yesterday and the site is currently receiving a ton of traffic. The country of Taiwan has a population of about 23 million people.
Virtually overnight it's been 1000% increase in visitors according to the page stats!

Currently the president is using a .tw extension. I don't know much about Chinese culture. Would the .com have any significant value in Taiwan?

I don't know much about chips. What I believe is that over the long term all short, meaningful .com domain names that can be used to run a business will continue to rise in prices, just like real estate in prime locations.

Currently the president is using a .tw extension
The official site, according to Wikipedia, is iing.tw.
