I believe only short and easy-to-remember domain names are sustainable, regardless of where in the world you live and which cultural background you come from.

Now that the Chinese domain market has become a hot topic, I myself want to understand this trend too. Is there any real meaning behind each domain name sold in China? Here, I'd like to share with you what I've found as I read the Chinese news everyday.

GZX.com
GZX can stand for 更自信 (even more self-confident) which can be used in many fields such as education, self-help, and even consumer products to raise your self image.

XLY.com
XLY can stand for 夏令营 (summer camp) or 新领域 (new field) which can be used in recreation and high-tech products.

If 84 "means" 'forever prosperous' does 74 mean 'forever harmonious' and 94 mean 'forever powerful'?
The whole 'Chinese translation' thing is about rhyming. It's not a one-to-one relationship. Each number can have many 'translations' and the English translation is just a rough translation so it's unreliable to deduce anything from it. I'm writing a blog post which will likely be published this month and include a number chart from 0 to 99. Please use it as a reference.

Kassey-can a short adjective be as valuable as a noun in Chinese? Thank you!
Good question. I've never thought about it. I judge each domain name on its own merits and see if it can be developed into a website to run a business.

I've said many times I'm terrible in domain appraisal. There are many people on this forum who are happy to tell you how much a domain name is worth. I suggest you start a new thread and get their help.

According to the Chinese news reported today, EQV is the abbreviation for Equivalent. So, in this case the meaning comes from an English word but not related to Pinyin words

Where can we find this info.
Is there a numeric translator?
Is there anything we can type a 4N or 5N into and get some kind of meaning from it?
