just curious if a meaningful LLLL domain with 1,600,000 google results and 1144 is only worth reg fee?

I am new to buying domain names so I am on a learning curve and any advice/comments would be appreciated.

1.6 mill google results really isn't that much and like I said the OVT is because of people looking for Chick-Fil-A.

Chic 43,800,000 google results 29,000 + OVT
Chick 45,400,000 google results 78,000 + OVT

Based on that, I would say that people use Chic and Chick and not so much Chik.

I'm not trying to hurt you feelings or saying that your name sucks. I'm just saying that based on the numbers I feel it is worth Reg fee. That is just my opinion

Also, I would recommend picking up an LLL.mobi on aftermarket rather than trying to find a .mobi that has been missed. Most likely you will save money and do better in the long run.

OK, you need to stop

Google results only tell you how many times something appears in google. Mind you, you have to put " " around the term.

OVT tells you how many times the term was searched in the previous month. (I belive on yahoo). But those results can be misleading as the plural and singular are shown as the same number and the words are not necesarilly in the right order.

As far as dvdrip.mobi I'm thinking the search was "rip dvd" not "dvd rip", but for this name that doesn't really matter because I don't know how someone could rip a dvd on their cellphone in the first place.

I hope I don't sound like I'm coming down hard on you. I really want to see people succeed. Honestly, with your level of knowledge on domain names, you should just pick up some LLL.mobi (three letter) on the aftermarket. If you don't want to do that I suggest you don't reg anymore names until you have read as much as you can on namepros over the next few days. There is a wealth of information here, but be warned, there are a number of people here with more domain name smarts than you or I have, and believe me they have registered all the names that would be worth more than the registration fee.
