I love this domain name. Used to live in Chicago and know the competitiveness of Chicago restaurants.

The week before Memorial Day is the annual National Restaurant Show at the McCormick Place. It's a HUGE trade show. Takes me at least 2 days to walk thru every isle. Eat yourself to death, pure bliss... -- Get the Exhibitor Book to that trade show and you have yourself an enormous direct call list of businesses that sell to Chicago restaurants.

You have listed other good industry catagories too.

But Chicago Chef sounds familiar. Do a trademark and company search.

End user could easily go higher than $3000.

I entered values in the 2 appraisal boxes thinking they would be visible. Since they didn't, I will post those values here.

$150 = Wholesale / Reseller Appraisal
$1500 and up = Retail / End User Appraisal

Also, think about domain name rental.

Or, use web site food/recipe/restaurant templates (I have many that will never get used). It would be easy to do a quick development

Lastly, do a Google search for "chicago chef" for a glimpse of your market.
