The position of the hyphen doesn't make any sense.

Chinese can be syllabicated as Chi/nese, so the position of hyphen does make sense to me.

I think it is reg fee if no traffic & new.

But no one is going to type it in syllabicated.

You tell someone to go to Chi-nese.com and they will go to Chinese.com .

Reg fee. Could be worth a few hundred thousand without the dash.

When developed it can be of more worth. I think its a nice name which can be remembered even though hyphen is there. I can think of chi power, chi kung etc but not sure of how to relate with nese. Obviously any site for the china market should go well.

This is kind of ironic.

By this I mean is that Americans spelled Chinese with the hyphen [Chi-nese] up until the 50's.

A little too late?

Need to develop and mark the people minds for the hypen when typing. Without it...its a reg fee.

I believe it sold for over a million and doubt you could touch it for that today. I've had this one for a while.

Chinese.com sold for $1,103,788.00

Got that from a thread in domain discussion

$0 - regfee. Will not get any traffic or revenue. I wouldnt reg names with a hyphen in the middle of a word that has no hyphen.

Reg fee - congrats on not being a boring domainer, though :)

Here Google provides 182.000 results and yahoo 27800 for "chi nese". I didยดt know earlier that there was a chi-nese spelling.

When spelled chinese, google gives 387M and yahoo 341M results so the other spelling is very exceptional.

Itยดs usually quite easy to find keyword phrases that are both interesting and providing more than a million search results so this one is absolutely useless, except for someone who would know a lot about china/chinese etc.

okay, thanks for all opinions, I was thinking it didn't look to bad but wanted to hear from other domainers.

I believe the only hyphened name I have that will be a good sell by the end of the year is Good-Candy.com since I currently have some interest in it at a pretty good number.
