You're asking for TM trouble on this domain. Grace delete if possible, and run away from it before GM discovers it.

hrethel, thanks for the reply. I absolutely agree with you. It is a hot potato, I was kinda thinking perhaps a gas bar or burger joint for a website and stay away from GM, but I will go along with your suggestion. GM could be looking for people to sue, seeing they are in the basement. LOL

If you are just running a blog or a club for Chevy truck owners and use the domain for non-commercial use I think that would be fine... as for the appraisal, maybe $75

I imagine that this name and so many other names that have a possible TM issue have basically no value except to the holder of the TM. Yet this may not be the case either if the name is used in another context that the TM holder uses it as you mentioned.

I know that if you attempt to use a name with Olympic or Realtor in it you will receive a C&D regardless of what you promote with the name.

What this all boils down to is that you need legal advice and the cost of this advice usually will overshadow the value of the domain name.
