This afternoon, I discovered one of the domain names I won at NameJet in August was showing the Network Solutions nameservers. This domain name has an expiration date of June 2021, so it is definitely not expired. Thinking perhaps I had overlooked changing the nameservers after it was provisioned to my Network Solutions account, I tried to change the nameservers to DAN.com. I received an error message that indicated the domain name could not be updated because it was in expired status. I then discovered that 2 of the 29 names I have in the account have the same issue.

Anyway, you might want to check your Network Solutions domain names to ensure the correct nameservers are set.

I have had the same issue like that with one of my domain, I have emailed to NetSol. but they still did ask me to have to renew my domain before I want to change the DNS or transfer out the domain name. My domain name has the expiration date is in July, 2021, it hasn't expired like they said.

I had to renew one of my names there because of this - at more than $30 for one year. What an utterly horrible registrar.

I only use them because NameJet auction names end up there, but I just wish it was not neccesary.

Easily the worst registrar I ever used. Their website is almost unusable on desktop and unusable on mobile. 5 days for a transfer (if you're lucky enough to be able to).

I have a name that I've transfered out and it's still on my domain list even though it's now at another registrar.

As said above, only forced to use them because of snapnames auctions.

Blast from the past for me I haven't heard much of them almost forgot used to use networksolutions 20 years ago. I would use greatdomains.com back then but moved in internic days they just threw away customers with pricing new registrars made an impact. Other than that didn't have problems just market changed.

Thanks for the reminder, apparently I have one domain there (drop-caught by snapnames) and I don't even know my login details... Expires in February, hopefully I'll manage to move it before then.

So I received a name that I won at Snapnames which got delivered to my Register.com account.
The Register.com dashboard showed the domain as expired and hence I was unable to update the nameservers.
Raised a ticked with Register.com as well as wrote an email to [email protected]. They got the same resolved within a few hours.

No, that is not the issue. These names are in my DAN account, but Network Solutions is (well, was) saying they are expired and would not let me change the name servers. Network Solutions has fixed the error after I submitted a support ticket, and the names once again resolve to their correct DAN pages.

I do not know if this issue was universally solved or if people who are impacted need to contact NSI support on their own.

Never used snap names and wouldnt use namejet because when i first joined namejet back in the day all i got was virtually constant namejet emails i could not stop the namejet emails but eventually found out how to stop namejet emails clogging up my inbox and that experience put me off namejet for life

Im not godsddys biggest fan either which doesnt help lol
