Hi all!
I'm looking for the cheapest dedicated servers out there.
But it needs to be reliable also with at least 99% uptime.

my requirements are at least :
512MB DDRAM Memory
80GB Hard Drive
1,000GB Data Transfer
with Cpanel (free, not more $$ per month)
Linux Os
It can be lower than my requirements but not too much :)

Thanks in advanced.

Well, I plan to host all my websites on the server and most of them are forums. Which one would best suit my needs?

I guess I would choose the Intel Celeron as i used to be hosted at a server using an Intel Celeron with a 2.4ghz processor. It hosted alot of websites and it was pretty fast so i guess i will choose Intel Celeron :tu:

Well just a little info ...I did a quick search on WHT and it seems most people would choose the AMD sempron over the Celeron 2.4 hands down

and I would suggest going with www.layeredtech.com from my own personal experience

well its pretty hard to give feedback.
To give feedback you need to use it for at least 1month or 2.

:P

But there service looks great.
if your looking for dedicated i would refer you there.

For most uses of these lower end dedicated servers, you will not see much difference between any of these processors.

If anyone wants a server at layeredtech, I can get them a break on the setup fees (1/2 price).

I assume this is an unmanaged server?

And do they offer cpanel, or just the interface you are using?

they offer WebCP.
This will be my first dedicated so i have no idea what managed and unmanaged means.
