Cheapest .com Registrar

Currently what I have is NetFirms, at $4.95/yr for .com domain, along with some hosting features.

Since I can see myself registering some domains in the next few days, I need to know if there is any other registrar that is cheaper than NetFirms. I am interested in .com and .net.

Best if they support Paypal. Credit card is fine with me.

Please suggest.

Cheaper than $4.95/yr ? They are already selling at a loss and make up with ancillary services like hosting. However most decent hosting companies will give out a free domain as long as you host with them.
FYI the raw cost of a .com to the registrar is $6.00 (verisign share) + $0.25 ICANN fee. Anything above (minus processing costs) is their margin (or loss).
Be careful with cheap registrars because you often get what you pay for.

with netfirms you are only allowed to reg 1 name at that price amd then they are $9.95
