We've owned this domain for a few years and have had several unsolicited offers up to the low $xx,xxx. Any ideas on an appraisal?

I think low $xx,xxx was a fair end user price for this name, if you're looking to sell this name and the low $xx,xxx offer is still valid, then take it.

Edit: just found out about chastity belt, worth low $xx,xxx - mid $xx,xxx for end users imo.

Interesting name, another of those that's difficult to put a more solid appraisal on because a clear and definite use for it isn't immediately apparent. It's versatile to end users, but you have to really think about what can be done with it development-wise. It's a pretty name, almost a sacred name, common female name, and would make a nice site perhaps about sexuality, religion, self-awareness... who knows?
Due to this somewhat nebulous usage, I think resellers would not take a huge chance on the name, you'd probably get in the 12 - 15K range from a reseller, possibly up to 20K if they are very motivated perhaps on behalf of a possible client?
An end user would easily pay in the 20 - 25K range, but I think they'd have to totally love the name as ideal for what they're doing in order to pay much more. However, that's the beauty of domaining... the magic of finding end users who really want the name and can pony up enough cash for it.
If you're getting low xx,xxx offers for it, I think it's a very good idea to list the name for sale on Sedo.com, and when you get an offer you can live with, ask them to make the bid through sedo so you can place it up for the 7-day auction there... and you'll definitely see what people are willing to pay for the name then.
But if you're not certain about selling, no reason to sell, right?
