I think this is their spelling of Center. I Did a Google.co.in India search and it returned 996,000 hits on this word, so I figured it was worth registering. If anyone here lives in India, please let me know if this is a good one.

Well..if you ask my personal opinion - you best deal would be to develope the names and try to generate revenue via ppc. Everyone is on a buying spree and the sales we've seen so far is very less comparatively. I always feel that .co.in & .in has value in INR ( Indian Rupees ) and not USD. 1 USD = 43 INR. Average income of an Indian family is about 15k +- 5k INR. And there are about 3-5 people in a family. So that's like 400$ for 3-5 people ! This is not the case in countries like UK & Germany - hence one should refrain from comparing .co.in/.in with .co.uk & .de.
But the real advantage lies in India's English speaking population and large internet user base. So, your best deal would be PPC. And you can always sell the site/domain if you have some developement.
I guess we should not talk here as it could be irritating for the thread started.

On a useful note : People in India speak combination of US + British English. Some words are also spoken in Hindi. It's basically a combination of'em all !
