Yes it turns off the signal temporarily - something like that, but there are gps jammers, cell phone jammers - all kinds of jammers.

Why would you want to deactivate a cell phone if you were accessing the website using one?

they only deactivate in small radius like in a building or airport, and if you live in a country that they are legal you call while your driving home on your cell phone and order one

don't you think thats taking things a bit too far?
I mean, in how much hurry can you be to order one of these things that you would order them from your cellphone.

In fact, this is something I personally to all mobile sites. Once the novelty factor of ordering something from your mobile wears off, I don't see the reason for ordering stuff from the mobile. Checking prices, though, would be a good idea. But when I'm buying an xxx dollar device, I want to see it in full screen with a nice screenshot.

It would just deactvate in a small place like a court building, odds are that if you wanted to call cellphonejammers.mobi you wound not be any where near a deactivation place.
