I have genuinely enjoyed reading, learning, discussing, and observing the many different ways people think about domains.

Recently I published my 100th post.

One thing I have noticed is that domains can be seen in very different ways. Some are treated almost like stocks or numbers. Others feel more like stories, identities, atmospheres, or future projects waiting to happen.

Personally, I find myself more attracted to domains where I can imagine an idea, a mood, or a possible future — not only statistics.

Anyway — thank you again for the conversations and inspiration so far.

I am new here at NamePros.
Right now, when I am writing this, I have only been at NamePros for 20 days.

But I have been on the Internet for many years. Years ago I was online on Apple Computer’s internal net.
That was even before 1989 when Tim Berner-Lee created WWW (The World Wide Web).

A few years ago I had a stroke. I was hospitalized 3 times in one year, and a lot of my activities were broken and stopped. - But now I am "online to get back”. And in particular I enjoy the communication here at NamePros.

Several have asked me about my very early days on the Internet.
Well, my start online happened on the internal Apple Computer Network on the Internet, even before Tim Berners-Lee created the WWW (World Wide Web) in 1989.
But the questions made me think: Is “my past” interesting for others?

Well, I was born in Denmark in 1943. Now I live in Sweden. But I have lived many places all over the world:

In the USA: As a very young I went to high school for a short period in Vermont. But I decided to go to California. Instead of taking an airplane, I “hitch hiked”.
It was easy in the beginning, but outside Rochester NY my luck stopped. I was standing there, for a long time with a sign: “California”.
Of course the many passing people were laughing. I took my sign, turned it around, and wrote: “West”. It worked, because very soon a car stopped.
The driver asked me: “Where are you going?” I flipped my card around and showed: “California”. The driver answered: So am I, you can join.

In Europe, I have over the years lived in several countries: Denmark, England, Spain, France, and Sweden. Now I am retired, but in the past I have mainly been working in sales. Selling packaging materials in plastic and metal. And selling computers, later PCs, but long before that I sold large computers, which often cost more than a house.

In East Africa I was the director of industries producing packaging products in plastic and metal.

In the Phillipines, Asia I was enjoying life.
