I have been receiving many offers for this name and I would like to get an idea of the value from other pros.

Give me some numbers!

Nice name I agree with the reseller value if you can find someone willing to pay it is another question. Honestly I think you should hold out for an end user I think the true value of this name is much higher. IMO you could get mid to high x,xxx great name good luck.

You could get mid to high xxx, and if you are lucky up to low x,xxx but because its more a brandable, rather than a good keyword, you will have to be patient and it could take a while to sell it. It doesn't have any obvious commercial value just by looking at it. These names are often sold to other domainers who believe they can flip it, mainly because its nice and short.

The bad thing its not registered in many extensions and the ones that are registered are mainly just parked sites, that usually indicates how popular the term is and gives you insight into how easy it would be to sell,. I have checked and there are not a lot of of end-users to email for this one

The one bonus is its .COM

Good luck with the name

Thanks Giles...I was waiting for you...

registered extensions :

I was also wondering how you can have a keyword domain in a LLLL...unless you own a dictionary word.

Or a popular acronym :)

I am not sure I understood what you wanted to say.
A generic/keyword domain is one thing; an acronym is something else.

This domain is a brandable + it contains a very common word

Yes, they are totally different things but there are LLLL (acronyms) that people actually search for. Like LMAO, ASOP, KOTL, so many more...

CDAY is nothing like that but because it contains a word and the prefix "C" with it has endless possibilities, I'd value it at mid xxx to low xxxx - you just need to find the right buyer to fetch more :)

Thats exactly what I'm saying, its registered in a few other extensions, but none are developed or being used in any way, so its more than likely just domainers owning them trying to make money via parking. I can assure you "cday" wont be making any parking revenue

If you want a LLLL.com, get a pronounceable name (togi, bota, loga, seto etc) or get some letters that are acronyms for something etc. Even better get a 2 word names with the commercial keywords in it, they are much easier to sell

Maybe the "C" could be for Calendar, then the "Day" kind of makes sense

I m glad you were waiting, makes me feel special :hi:

What a party for the obvious!!!...

maybe I should buy web.com or business.com...yes..they are better than togi, bota ...aren't they

You can't compare a Ferrari with small city car

I wasn't referring to those exact names, just examples of real brandables, and you dont need $20K to but a decent 4L.com  Check the aftermarket and drop lists

Mmm, where did your last comments go? Im only giving advice, you dont have to take it, this is the appraisal section after all

Try not to be defensive, just take each comment as it comes, you will get good ones and bad ones, all appraisal threads do

I am not defensive. I asked for an appraisal not be schooled about what domains to buy; I didn't ask to compare cday to other domains either especially with those it can't be compared to.
Would you compare Cloud.com with CloudArmy.com? I don't think so. It's pretty much the same that comparing a quad premium CVCV ( which is the top premium LLLL ) to something that is not.

So if you want to contribute to the thread and give me YOUR appraisal I am happy to hear it. What annoys me is not receiving a low appraisal; it is reading some obviousness which, besides not helping me value my name, is not helpful for anyone who wants to know more about LLLLs.

After this I really hope we can move on. Thanks
