Just registered www.cd-rom.ws, doesn't show up in browser yet :) CD-ROM is a home-made CD disk, burned on a writing CD burner. I think cd-rom.ws will be great for a CD selling web-site, like _cdromshop.com or _cdaccess.com or something like that. The extension hurts a bit, but cd-rom.com would sell for about mid-$xx,xxx, don't you think?
It's my first .ws, my best guess is that, depending on the buyer, I can get anything from low-$xxx to mid-$x,xxx for it. I have put it up for auction in another category, BID-BID-BID!!!

The CD ROM overture is 21353 - HIGH PROFITS possible!

I'd have to agree with the other posters, the - in the name kills it.
I've been reg's a few single word .ws's lately, but i don't think they will ever take off like the others have.
My advice, keep to one word .ws's.

Agree. Hyphen+.ws is a deadly combo for resale. Seek.net's advice about sticking w/ single words in .ws is right. I have sold some single word .ws in $30-$40 range

CD-ROM is a WORD, you can look it up in a dictionary. That's why I thought it would be valueable, 6 digit .ws domain. Even though it has a hyphen, it is easy to remember for particular markets.

While most typeins would use cdrom, search engines will disregard the hyphen and show results for either.

You're correct too that CD-ROM is a word (and the correct spelling btw)...

In my mind, the hypen does not "hurt" the value so much as the .ws ext... most typeins will defer to a better known ext.

This one will take some branding and development, despite the excellent keyword.

reg fee low xx as is, more if developed suitably.

Both are correct spellings though I think it doesn't matter much, the problem is people simply don't expect hyphens in domains, if this was developed alot of traffic would be going to the non hyphen.
