Catchy name reg's?

Just curious on how many of you watch tv or read a business magazines and think up a domain names and register them? And also, for those that do, how often do you do this and how lucky have you been reselling these types of names?

I myself have only done this a few times and lucked out with one so far. Bought a "phrase/saying domain" a couple months back for $8.00 and recently sold it for $1,500

I like trying to be creative this way

Anyone else, examples?

Up to this point, all of my sales have been from reg fee domains. And I've had several in the high $xxx - low $x,xxx range. Theres definitely money to be made in this manor if you have a good eye for potential.

I've thought about it a few times, but it doesn't usually hit me until it's to late and they are already registered. Although I don't even attempt to register domains from a tragedy.

Thanks, just tonight I felt a little creativity come over me after posting this thread. I went to godaddy and just started typing some stuff in with a new tab open and a business words/terms and definition page open for ideas.

Typed in a bunch of stuff but only reg'd four domains, I had an itch

I do keep looking for new terms in media. And have two that way:
RatesApply .com and Screedosphere .com . However, i did not find a buyer for them yet.
