A lot of similar domains sold in 2011. Since then no sales at all.

That's true. But, I'm looking at sedo listings, almost all casino.cctld have received offers. More popular extensions have more offers, less popular less offers... Also, recently I've seen here a listing for .cctld domains with good (high) prices. And now I'm thinking about such an opportunity.

The term "casino" is taken in virtually ever extension known.

The ones that you see for resell at lower prices, are the ones that just get tossed around from one domainer to another ect...

I wouldn't recommend investing in those obscure extensions just to have the keyword.

You would just be buying someone else's problem child.

Review all the reported sales and look how many are developed.
Almost none.

Why ? I think it's obvious, no end user is going to brand a serious casino business under the TLD of an obscure country.
Those names have sold, but to resellers it seems. In other words you'll need to find another reseller according to the greater fool theory, or you will be left holding the bag :imho:
