Careers123.org is a fairly marginal name,
but taxmanagementsoftware.com is ok, and
i'd say that this name could sell for $1K
-$5000, to a motivated seller who has a
plan for development.

taxmanagementsoftware.com is certainly a
'longtail', and quite a mouthful, but the
name does define a subject area that has
some heavy spending in it and it could be
a great name upon which to sell software
solutions.

Both of them are good newbie domains. I am surprised that no one thought of anyone of these domains years ago. One is 1 day old (maybe hours) the other just 8 days. Please sit on them and seek out end users Resellers will only give you reg fee to $50 at this point. But an end user will give you XX for Career.org. But the taxmanagementsoftware.com should bring $1500+. Why?

Do a google search on "tax management software" and you will get over 400,000 results. Now note some of the results and you will see that there is a lot activity going on in this arena. That's why I am surprised that no one had gotten this name before now. Maybe because it is terribly long. But if I were you, I would not be phased by that. You got a good name there. If appointmentreminders.com can sell (which it did) for $3,500 I believe that you have a good chance with yours selling for $1500 or more.

Patiently pursue the right people:talk: using the google results.

I agree with most responses here.
Regarding, careers123 dot org, I may create an rss aggregator sites covering jobs from most sites.
Hopefully that should get some decent traffic.

I tend to disagree with you about taxman...com, also if you follow recent postings in domain selling trade it seems that a particular domainer has been successful in selling this kind of names. Here are couple of links from that thread...

Interesting links, I was a bit surprised, well those links seems to prove that reg fees domain can sometimes to be sold for an unexpected amount, but I think that they are a bit exeptions, when I and maybe other people here do an appraisal I say a price I think the domian worth, obviosly having in mind many factors, but not consider the factor of the task of trying to find a right buyer by contacting people that seem in some cases as you showed give good results with reg fees sell for a higher amount
