You're kidding, right? You've got 2 massive problems with these domains:

1. Google is a TM term. Google is also one of the largest companies in the US. Combine those two together, and you're going to have a TM smackdown of the highest order. Not to mention the combination of "Google" and the next problem...

2. "Warez" sites are defined as being distributors of illegal software. If you think Google's going to be happy about their name being associated with highly-illegal products, you're delusional. To think that anyone here would even consider telling you that a warez domain would be worth anything is equally delusional.

Conclusion: The value of this domain is negative $tens of thousands. The .com was probably registered by Google to have a preemptive defense against exactly what you're proposing. In fact, the domain was registered for them by MarkMonitor, a company which is dedicated to protecting brands online. Was it an oversight to not register the other TLDs? Maybe, but that doesn't mean that they're OK with anyone using those domains.

Final recommendation: Run as far away from these domains as you can. Grace delete them if possible. Then, hide your credit card safely away from domain registrars, and read the Legal forum here for a couple of months. Otherwise, you're going to get yourself in trouble in a very bad way.

i bought theese domains via paypal. and u say that google doesnt give permission to make search engine for this domain. but if i got patent for "googlewarez" and make it TM is there any problem?

First, you can't patent a term, you're thinking of trademark. And Google is such an established brand that anything with "Google" in it is pretty much a trademark violation. And you can't register a trademark for "Googlewarez," because that would be "confusingly similar" (a legal term that makes it impossible to trademark a term that could be confused with an existing trademark). You will lose hard with this domain, I assure you.

And I'm not even sure what the PayPal thing has to do with anything. Does a TM violation become OK because you bought the domain with PayPal? (The answer, by the way, is "no".)

Oh, and bonus points for having the DNS hosted on a server that seems to be running a Turkish warez site. I'm sure that'll go over REAL well.

You can't TM such a name since "Google" is trade marked and "warez" is illegal.

Seriously, delete this names ASAP. Not just not use them, but delete them. You're only setting yourself up for legal action otherwise.

Agreed. Although both seller and buyer shown bad form here, IMHO.

I'm actually not sure about the buying from another person thing. I don't have a full DomainTools subscription (yet), but it seems to indicate that the whois records haven't changed since it was registered about a month ago.

First off welcome to Namepros :)

These names are a very bad idea imo as not only are google protective of their name but to associate them with anything illegal will only make it worse. If you can get your money back on these, do if not just drop them move on and use it as a lesson learnt.

Before you register anything else - take some time out to read around the forum. It will save you time money and a possible law case against you.

Kind regards

We've been telling you all of the problems that this domain has. It doesn't matter whether you create a search engine or not. The mere existence of the domain name causes you serious problems. You could create a website on cute little bunnies and you'd still have problems.

I have no sympathy for anyone who runs warez sites (and it's clear that you've been running a warez site for at least a year now at a different domain [other users can see the domain in the whois record, I'm not going to repeat it here]). You might want to seriously reconsider your online activities. If you don't want to take my (and others') advice seriously, you'll just have to continue on a path that's going to be a serious problem.

these are the worst + most dangerous names i have seen during the last weeks on namepros.

and personally i have 0 sympathy with owners of such names.
such people (amoung some others) bring all domainers in to bad repute.
i hope that google kicks your (and the other sellers) a.... as soon as possible. period
