Can I get a rating and suggestions on this graphic?

Hi, i'd like to get a rating on this graphic, it took me a bit of time to do, but i want constructive critcism on it.

Its nice, you cut the image of the horse out well some more colour would make the logo much more interesting.

Its quite nice, however maybe a little too simple? I know simplicity is key but i think it needs a little something.

Can you change the background circle to a color such as pale fading blue? I think it would make it look a little more interesting. Also maybe a different font, take a look on dafont.com/en/ for some great free fonts.

Slightly blur the edges of your horse to blend images and soften jaggies.

Well it is decent but it just looks like a picture of a horse with a basic gradient and text. I would actually design the horse in Photoshop or Illistrator. I would hire someone on NP to do it.
