(To my amazement, it has quite a bit of TLD reg's, assuming they aren't all you, this will raise it's potential selling power and value here)

- KeyWord Selector Tool - (Using http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/)

The KeyWord Selector Tool is an awesome utility found at the site listed above for seeing everyday use of keywords or terms. If your term(s) has an everyday use of more then 1,000 searches that will usually raise the value of your name to most people IMHO. I usually grade keywords +$2.50 every 5000 searches done that month for it.

(Buy phone holds it's own with a good search return of 872, not bad)

- Relevence of Terms(s) [If multiple keyWords, or 3-4 LETTER based] -

If your domain name had multiple keywords this section is the research done to see the different potential meanings your domain name could have and the value IMHO I think would be the best way to sell it on versus others.

(BuyPhone.Org Very clearely should be used for a site to buy phones. The TLD however .org would kill it's value for that purpose, however, the TLD could be used effectively if it would made into a forum about buying phones and which phones to get, now that could be useful, to even me myself. I might go there =P. I'm always looking for a good place to get information on cell phones and such. Which will be the main search topic on your forum as found above in keyWords.)

- Google Searches (http://google.com) -

Google Searches shows the use of the word in everyday language and how likely someone is to see the word therefor and consider your name for sale or for personal use.

Results 1 - 10 of about 419,000,000 for buy phone. (0.50 seconds)

(Wow that is a nice result for sites that use the term buy phone. Amazing Reg, and the registered TLD's reflect the Market the google searches is showing. Usually more TLD's are registered if the google use of the term market is higher. Great Google Results!)

- Sites Found Using the Name (Terms) -

The purpose of this section is to examine sites that use your name. If there are sites already using your name with TLD's of higher or lesser value then yours, your name has good potential selling power to those companies.

(Anyways it took 3 sites before we got to some sites selling phones, the first sites are just ridiculous, however this does show good page ranking possibilities for the term to take advantage of those searches and to gain google position 1,2 or 3 making the value of the name higher. Also lots of phone businesses you could offer sponsorship on the site if you made it a forum like this showing good money making potential here. You might want to consider getting buyphones.org as well though to cover yourself if you have not already)

- TLD - (Top-Level Domain) Value

My assessment is based on my personal experience in selling domain names.

In general the TLD's below have more positive value then other TLD's. Most other TLD's IMHO have negative value to most general names.

.COM names +$3.00 or + 3% of total value

.NET names +$1.50 +1.5% of total value
.ORG names +$1.00 +1% of total value
.BIZ names +$.20 or +.20% of total value
.US names +$.10 or +.10% of total value
.CC names +$.5 or +.5% of total value
.INFO names +$.1 or +.1% of total value

Though the value of the TLD's is also dependent on the name and the use of the TLD with it.

In most cases however, the .COM, .NET and .ORG are the way to go for general purpose names.

(Your .ORG domain works for you still adding slightly above it's value to $1.50 or 1.5% of total value in my opinion matching the .NET in potential)

Domain Availability Value - >+$25

Pricing Guide: Seeing that both plural and non plural versions of the TLD's were registered beyond the .ORG and .NET and .COM that shows some serious selling power, as buyers were willing to spend to get other TLD's of lesser value just for the phrase.

KeyWord Selector Value ->+$5

Pricing Guide: Decent amount of searches, decent value increase.

Relevance of Terms Value ->+$25

Pricing Guide:Buy and Phone work perfect together and are completely relevent to what people should expect when visiting your site, names that can do this effectively are rare for a reason. As far as the relevence of your name is concerened I give you props here.

Google Searches Value- >+$100

Pricing Guide: I normally don't add this much but the google search return was phenominal for these terms, .ORG or not, it's worth something on that alone.

Sites found using the name Value ->+$20

Pricing Guide: Not so many sites that use the exact term, but many sites that have that phrase and product simalarity that you could use to sell as sponsorship on your site. Easy to remember name.

TLD Assesment Value ->+$2.00

Pricing Guide:.ORG matches .NET potential here.

Final Value:$177 (Minimum) - high $XXX

---- Recomendation ----

Great steal here, worth advertising on SEDO, should be able to get some buyers with that many TLD Reg's, accept any offers above $177 and keep in mind it's potential to sell in the high $XXX. My $177 appraisal is a conservitive estimate as if I were the re-seller. It should be able to sell for more then that to the right people.

I also reccomend you buy, buyphones.org, the plural version it is worth more in my opinion then this version by about $50, having both together would make a powerful selling package.

This is my take:

I like the buyPhone but not the .org. It does not fit :imho:

I would appraise it in a high $xx to mid $xxx range. Mid $xxx only with the right buyer.

Any good revenues?

I need to edit my appraisal after realizing a few mistakes, I gave to much value to the keywords section it should be +$1.00,

also when doing google searches I tricked myself to the actual market on it, the real results with quotes is, Results 1 - 10 of about 359,000 for "buy phone". (0.42 seconds)

That is still above 300,000 mark, but not worth the $100 I once I thought it was, this is more like +$20 at most.

So minus $81 to the appraisal. I think it's really worth more at, $102, still very good though. Sorry for the mistake, I want to make sure I'm getting this more accurate for you.
