Buying Scripts v Joomla/Drupal

Hello

What are the main cons of buying scripts such as Social Engine/Elgg/Webscribbler/Netartmedia…..

Oppose to developing with Joomla or Drupal.

Obviously you have more flexibility with customisation and functions etc.., but I’m talking more in terms of SEO.


Does Google favour methods used by Joomla/Drupal, over bought scripts as the ones I’ve mentioned?

Or have I totally missed the boat here,.

I don't think there is any effect on seo while using joomla or drupal. on the contrary they have many themes and modules/add ons that can improve seo.

unless you chance upon a badly coded script sometimes it can hinder search engine results....
as i know of search engines doesnt like badly coded sites.
