Buying at SEDO/Afternic: How much does it cost?

I know it can be a dumb question for expert buyers but I never bought any name at SEDO or at Afternic so I`d like to know if you guys know this before to waste 2 hours reading all the little notes at both websites.

At SEDO they talk about:

Base fee for Domain Brokerage Service $69.00
Brokerage Fee if Sale is Negotiated Successfully 10% of the sales price***


But that is only if I need a broker I suppose.....so what I win the name in the auction or just pick and choose one without auction?


Same for Afternic.....there are too many things to read..... :yell:

If you win an auction, then the buyer pays the fees at Sedo, and its the same at Afternic as far as I know, someone correct me if im wrong about afternic.

I do not buy a lot of aftermarket domains but I have nametrader.com (steve) hunt down a lot of names for me ... just a month ago he acquired 50 domains in a bulk sale.

He posts here often and knows how to negotiate very good.
