Buy it if you have experience dealing with traffic. If you don't, unless it's a super generic domain like blue.com, the traffic is going to decrease, decrease, then disappear.

you usually don't know the prior traffic for an expired domain, unless it is a well known domain, in that case many people would bid on snapname.
