Hi Guys,

BuxUp.com is officially live now.

We have been working hard for last 6 months to bring this new advertising platform for publishers and advertisers.

We are entering advertising market in direct competition with Google Adwords, YPN and Microsoft Adcenter adplatforms :kickass: and would like to know your opinion about our new adplatform.

We are looking for your feedbacks.

Many thanks in advance.

BuxUp Team

Ok,
you stated when you opened your thread " We are entering advertising market in direct competition with google adwords.........."

If you dont see a problem having that site as a featured site then I have to assume that you know what you are doing.

Steve, when I open up your site, I get warning messages. Are you requesting info from sites who visit ?

Hi Exsedo,

Thanks for your concerns and comments. They are very useful for educational purpose. You are right only "de jure".

I do not think Google is going to waste their time and money to litigate with each publisher in the world. Google TM is registered only in countries which are signatories to WIPO. I suspect, there are few countries that did not sign the agreement with WIPO, therefore, publishers in those countries can get away with anything. In fact, some countries are considering for shutting down access to these big companies such as Google, Yahoo and Twitter etc for political and moral reasons. So, what is going to happen to their ccTLDs domain names? There is nothing they can do about it. I guess, Google may intervene in cases where damage to their brand is significant but not in cases where publishers are promoting Google's services. Google, Yahoo and similar companies are so much surrounded by internet myths that they are so powerfull and can do anything to small and medium-sized companies but "de facto" the publishers are taking them to the court for breach of copyrights law etc. In my opinion, we should stop worry about TM issues here and continue our discuss about buxup.com . If anyone has any TM issues with any internet companies, please let me know via www.dnguards.com and we will take care of the case (30% discount on the legal fee) or you can check the following discussions: "NamePros.com > Discussion > Domain Names > Legal Issues & Disputes". Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Cheers.

P.S. I am an experienced lawyer but my passion is advertising and marketing on the net :)

You get warning messages? Please explain this, as this sounds ridiculous. No I'm not requesting info from sites who visit. I don't even know what that means. My site is a simple wordpress blog. The only thing I could think of that would request info from sites you visit is Gravatar image or Twitter widget. Gravatar checks to see if you have an account with them, and if so, pulls your gravatar image when you leave a comment on most wordpress blogs. Twitter widget may check to see if you're logged in, so you can follow my twitter account with a simple button, if you choose to follow.

Let me know what kind of warning messages you got. You sound like an isolated case. I've checked my site from multiple computers and I get thousands of visits a month, and you're the first to ever make this claim. Perhaps you're looking at the internet in a distorted way.
