Hi,

I'm from Singapore and starting an ecommerce store soon selling products that will be drop shipped to customers in the US. The suppliers are also from the US.

Can anyone advise if I need to incorporate a US business or I can simply display my local business address on the website?

I'm not sure how US customers will react when they see a singapore based company selling stuff targeted at US residents.

Hope someone can advise me, really appreciate it!

Thanks for viewing.

I usally don't have a problem from oversees stuff, but one thing I think of when I see it's from oversees, is it's going to take about a week or two longer than if it were in the US. Depending on the items your selling, that might scare a few people away.

Hi,

Thanks for your advice. The products are sourced and shipped within the U.S. so delivery should be less than a week (I'm using a drop shipper). In fact, shipping & handling charges will be standard U.S. rate.

I'm just worried U.S. customers will not believe I'm running legitimate business given an overseas business address.

Again, thanks for the advice

Yea, but if you put your overseas address on the website, some customers may think your shipping from overseas.

I wouldn't worry about putting your address on there... better to be open then hide things.
