domain Burnin.com What does it really mean?

I recently purchased Burnin.com (registered since 1997) and one of my friends told me that "Burn In" means something in the field of electronics,
another told me that it stands for "cloning CDs or DVDs"....

What does it really mean?

To Burn in electronics means to run new devices at full power for a period of time to make sure they won't immediately fail.

The second usage would be slang

Burn in is definitely running electronic equipments for a long period of time to test out the endurance and durability. Its basically testing out equipments to check for flaws also.
great name for an electronics magazine !
