I really don't have time to check them myself, but do they have an PR?

I'll transfer to another 123-reg customer, which is free.. If you then want to transfer away from 123-reg the charges for that are down to you..

Well I never knew that, and I've sold a few .co.uk domains over the years and never had a problem from them.. Well I will fill in whatever paperwork needs doing to make the transfer formal and complete.

Looks like I'll have to retract that bid then, sorry.

Okay Richard.. I guess I may as well cancel this auction then *sigh* Stupid .co.uk rules was just looking to recoup some of the outlay on these domain names :(

I can sympathize with you on this one.

Firstly I would like to underline the fact that in no way is what I am going to say meant to be directed at the user 'dhscott'.

I think that if users have informative messages (regarding the legality of domain transactions or the like), they should send them to the seller/user auctioning their domains. This would rely on the good-will of the seller to inform their own potential traders if and why they are having to either change the clauses of or cancel their auction.

Admittedly I have been a member of this trading forum for only 3 days but have already read several posts where 3rd party users (neither sellers nor buyers) who donate their (genuinely valuable) information but pay little respect to the seller of a domain (in terms of the tone they write). The seller then ends up posting, "thanks for ruining this auction X user - auction now closed - thanks anyway"!

Just a thought.

Very kindest regards to all traders,

Rich

;)
