I registered porschedealers.com in 2000 and got a letter from their lawyers about it. I was a bit surprised as I didn't think a list of Porsche dealers, say, was trade mark infringement.

It's almost the case whereby if a trade mark appears in a name you can't use it, so you couldn't use myfirstporsche.com which seems wrong to me (someone is using it!).

Yeah that exactly what I was thinking. I contacted several volkswagen employees through email and I am not getting any emails back. Very strange. But I am just waiting for their response

Just for the record, the name I registered was porscheagent.com , I forgot after 15 years!
