Hi, i have recently setup my website after going through around 15 hours worth of CSS and other random database problems etc, now i got it all done i am that picky i want it perfect as i got this far. I got it how i want it now i cleared my cache and reloaded my website and well when i load the page the 4 little box navs on the left all are the complete width of the page until about 5 seconds later the rest loads and it loads the news box which is opposite to it so it all fits the way i want it. how do i do it so it all loads together or it loads it in like from the top down instead across so the boxes don't look distorted....??

You probably have a large CSS file and the part that controls those nav bars is near the bottom so the browser doesnt get the code until its fully loaded.

I tried to have a look at that and it didn't happen on mine, it loaded quite quickly. I'm sure it would look fine even on a 1mb connection

well i am on 56k and i am not too happy with that rendering so i mean it is my site so i should be happy before release right? anyway please tell me some ways i can make my page load a little quicker and how to make it render like from the top downwards like shows the header, then displays all of the content like from the top to bottom instead of when it loading it makes the menu's full width until the css for the news kicks in so i mean any advice is welcome.

are your css files big? If so, split them into littler files.

go to the following to view all of my css files and tell me what you think, would it help me changing the order of the .css files in the page code? or is there any other method for me to be able to speed it up or if not then make it able to render from top to bottom or which ever aslong as it renders in a respectful fashion.

Frankly, your problem is not a problem. Live with it.

well it annoys me so i want to maybe strip down my website to increase a little more speed for me personally and for it to render a little more better.
