The feds recently approved a bill (http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,2194544,00.asp) that would require the FCC to do "Broadband Mapping". This would show areas that are covered for bandwidth at a minimum of 200 kbps, which is now the standard for "broadband".

I am thinking about developing with a Google API for Maps so that ISP's could show their coverage area.

Ideas/value would be greatly appreciated.
