Would love to hear your thoughts on this one.

I think the .COM sold for 7 figures some years ago.

Due to the political climate "Brexit" I will see this as an investment risk. In Addition,
.Net not at all Popular here in the UK if developed and aimed at non UK Consumers i.e to attract tourism I can see great value selling for 30 - 40 K if the Union stays intact. If the union Splits I will be surprised if it sells for $500

My Opinion only.

I agree it's a 5-figure name - low or high end will depend on buyer/patience.

The word 'Britain' will always refer to the geographical area of the British Isles, even if down the line Scotland decide to leave the UK and re-join the EU on their own. Just as the word 'British' will always refer to the produce or culture of said islands. Sweden, Norway, Denmark etc. are politically separate countries, but are also 'Scandinavian'.

Thanks for the History Lesson But you missed my point if the Union Splits Obviously the geography remains the same But if the countries go independent using the term Britain becomes a little redundant for e.g. the Scots will prefer to be called Scottish, People from England English, Ireland Irish etc, Politically and culturally the term will not be as popular in common Language Although correct I can't see a Business buying it. My evaluation is not based on geography or the validity of the term .

In any event this is Just my opinion.

Thanks ,

I understand the brexit situation and the split within Great Britain. But to me i think britain will always stay and doesn't fade overnight. This name has a high potential

We acquired this domain from the original owner who had the domain for 20 years. He had a business plan but never got round to it. Brexit, IMO, will not increase/decrease the value of this GEO domain.

Born, Raised in London, Worked in the City for 20 years never heard ordinary/ Business people use "Britain" except for in a political context, plus Nationalism running wild but hey what do I know the definition of the term is not in dispute here but events can change value of names.

I wish you Great Luck with it.

Brexit will not impact this domain. I think high $x,xxx to low $xx,xxx for the right end user. The British Isles will always be called that, regardless of if the countries ever split. Also, 'British' is also a term used in overseas territories such as Gibraltar and the Falklands.

Difference of opinion I guess which is fine. Again no one is disputing the Term but its just not "Popular here" Look it doesn't matter if the word is Casino or Ireland or Irish if the word itself is not widely used in my view it affects the value. Gibraltar by the way is currently being disputed by Spain take it from a guy that lives here there has even been several radio shows about the term and the popularity of it. I am not Nostradamus though but my view Can be wrong so its nothing personal.

Great Luck with the name.

We'll see if Britains (.NET) Got Talent to attract an end user :)
For the .COM to sell for $1,000,000, the term must have some intrinsic value, even coupled with .NET
