Don't limit yourself to thinking that it might be used only by software companies. BrainCode.com sounds like a perfect domain for something that would be related with neuroplasticity.

As for the price - appraisals is dead thing. It's worth as much as an end-user will be willing to pay. You would need to know how much is a minimum for which you would feel "okay" to sell it. Personally it would be 1-2K for this name if it was mine.
