The registrant of the domain name BoycottWickes.com did so in order to protest the activities of a company and wasn’t to blame for PPC ads placed by the registrar, GoDaddy, without their consent.
Wickes Building Supplies Limited, United Kingdom, filed a UDRP to usurp the domain. In their Complaint, they cited confusion in the minds of consumers as a reason behind the UDRP.
