Posted this in another thread just now but worth repeating.
If we talk retail pricing (and not wholesale as mentioned above) nothing should ever be priced below 2,000$ Why? With a sell-through-rate of 1-2% (industry standard) and a renewal fee of 10$ you just break even (factoring in a sales commission of 25%). Then one can start looking at, is this name even average? Will 100 names like this fetch one sale per year á 2,000$+? My answer to that is: I do not think so - I believe you need way higher quality.
That said, I would aim to close it at reg fee if possible and improve quality of names in my portfolio.
This is just my opinion and I am way better selling wholesale than retail so might be missing something here
