bosnia.com is great and valuable geo domain for sure! If domain kosovo.com has been sold to, I assume, domain reseller for $43,225 at sedo in 2009 according to namebio then you can get mid to high $xx,xxx (reseller price) or possibly 6 figure for motivated end-user for bosnia.com, IMHO. But, please notice some disadvantages for domain bosnia.com: it is international, not local country name (bosna), plus that is not official country name (bosnia and herzegovina or bosna i hercegovina)

Geographic domains often go for many times this, there are after all only a few hundred countries in the world and if it is a top tier domain (.com, .net, .org and even .info) then you are looking at a serious payday if you bought for reg fee.

Anyways, for the opening poster I would say that the auction should start at $50,000 and see where it goes from there

Great name... if you started a sedo auction today for the $60 minbid I'd expect it would sell for at least $5k and might get a bidding war up to the mid $xx,xxx figures that a few of the other posters here suggested.

bosnia and herzegovina is the official english name. bosna i hercegovina is in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian Latin. After the war millions of dollars were spent and are spending nowadays for the reconstruction of bosnia. Also bosnia will become part of the EU in some years. Then watch other country .com sales and see if you may need to raise the price if prices are going up. With Brazil.com and Russia.com sales, prices have been very depressed recently.

Even if country gets divided, bosnian part (and its people) will not dissaper from earth, (and entire region is going towards UN/NATO). I would say that at least term "bosnia" has a future.
