Bogging, anyone?

Hello,

I am in the process of setting up a blogging server. Currently evaluating a few blogging packages, solutions/environments.

Anyone care to share their experience, especially with any Open Source Blogging toolkits?

I am more interested in server-side aspects of it -things like backend reqirements (MySQL, etc), security issues, caching, processing overhead, yada yada yada.

You can always find a open source blog script then figure out what it has and what you want added then post your request for script changes on www.scriptlance.com You can have things added and removed to be unique.
