I have quite a few Blu-ray domains so I am in the same holding pattern.

1. Wait for the PS3 to launch next month (Nov 17).
2. Wait for the movie watching/gaming public to decide if they want to buy Blu-ray or HD-DVD (this Christmas).

3. Wait for prices to come down under $400 for both burners and players.
(This could take another year.)
