Yes, I have been, and also lived in China. I see a great opportunity in this, as any name can be registered, even those already taken on .com or .cn.

It's in USD, and the extra service here is the fact that you get to have the domain on YOUR name no matter who you are, and even if you have no connection to Benin other than the administrative contact.

The registrar? Likely Benin Telecoms.

if you are worried about the registration itself, there is no risk, as you can make safe payment by paypal. If you are doing business in China, it would be a very safe bet for you to have a .bj domain.

150/year, what's the currency please, CNY or USD?

If it's in USD, I am afraid the price is not too good, as we all know, even (Chinese.中国/.公司/.网络) or (English/Number.中国) is only selling for 180 CNY, let alone, .CN 30 CNY.

And if you are selling .BJ domain name to Chinese local company or individual and you know Chinese market, than the price should be set far better. Just a piece of advice.

Thanks for the information, but please be reminded, .CN domain name is still the first/best choice in marching into Chinese market, if the price of .BJ is good, I won't mind taking both .CN and .BJ.
