.tv Bizarre estibot valuation - BUT I LIKE IT!

I hand-regged the name trampoline.tv and have since discovered its valuation on estibot is..

For the life of me I can't work out why? Any thoughts as to what makes this figure so high.

Am I really sat on such a beauty of a name or is estibot just a bit CR^P?

Estibot gives some crazy prices, i would not take any notice of it.

Regards trampoline.tv, i'd say the value will 'Go Up, then Down, Then Up, Then Down......etc" :lol:

Seriously. There MUST be a reason that such a high figure is proffered by estibot.

The dotcom shows an Estibot value of $340 000 and the dotnet is $29 000.
The .me comes up regfee.

Even though you can't rely on Estibot to get it right, it's still nice to see a .tv show that kind of value.

i'd say the .com valuation is the most way off there

estibot is ok, but you gotta take with a pinch of salt if using, has some handy features though

As I say with all auto-appraisal sites, use them only for novelty purposes only

Estibot seems to favor this one, but here's what i think is going into the valuation:

-1 word
-very high .com valuation
-lots of PPC action
-taken in all extensions
-very high Ovt and Wordtracker counts
-very high daily traffic figures on .com
-tons of backlinks on .com
-Google/MSN numbers appear to actually be higher on .com than resulted on Estibot.
-Also note that the plural version - or "Trampolines" is also valued nicely by estibot.

I don't know that the valuation is "totally off" but i certainly can't/don't consider myself an expert by any stretch.

To me - these numbers don't seem "way" off. If Estibot said $30,000 - then i would say way off... but my guess would be somewhere between $750 - $2500... again, that's just a guesstimate or "range" where i might expect it to fall based upon the metrics i see.... (and scouring lots of names over the past few months)

the TRUTH is - as we all know - that the value of this domain (as anything else in life) is what someone is willing to pay for it at a given point in time.

Max PPC Bid $2.62
MAX PPC Income/day $327.5
Overture/mo 114764
Wordtracker/day 2529

Especially , when estibot reports high Wordtracker/day - domain gets appraised
very high.
And actually, if this site/name gets traffic with MAX PPC income/day $327 - i would not sell it for 340K as it appraised.
So, my guess , this appraisal based on pure math , where high PPC and searches per day involved.

I suppose I should confirm the rules for this game now we have at least two competitors.

The name TRAMPOLINE.tv has been valued at estibot at $3,200

I thought the valuation was a load of CR^P, but NOW that it is on SEDO believe that it is worth well above $3,200.

The present bid on SEDo is just $60

If NPers here might like to make suggestions as to the final price then the one closest to the final figure (above or below) will be the winner and will be entitled to me paying for one year registration of any available non-premium .TV domain name.

The end of the SEDO auction is the coming Saturday and I will announce the winner on Sunday morning.
