Just my two cents worth (no pun intended):

I believe that if an auction's increments are not mentioned in a thread it should be assumed to be at least $1.

Let's get away from this 1 cent increase stuff.

Ideally all thread starters should be posting their preffered increments but it occasionally gets overlooked. I've been guilty of it myself.

I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, just trying to see this forum continue to live up to its name. Be a pro.

I agree, this would be a good rule of thumb. 1 cent bid increases aren't fair to other bidders.

They are also unfair to other posters, as a plus 1cent bid effectively bumps up the thread without adding significant change to the current bid.

:bingo:

I do know that a couple/few of those were ongoing light-hearted jabs to an otherwise busy domain day/week, but it was starting to get a bit silly IMHO. You're right, Seller should post acceptable minimum increments (along with ALL other pertinent sale/acution information/parameters) and in its absense, Buyer(s) can either inquire in the actual thread -or- default to $1.00 (one DOLLAR) increments.
Good to go! :tu:
Thanks.
